What a crazy 24 hours. Started at 7 am (on Tuesday) in Bermuda… A flight to JFK in New York just to spend 5 1/2 hours in the American Airlines Admirals Club. Then a quick red eye flight to Barcelona (arriving Wednesday morning). Barcelona is amazing and we have only visited what feels like 10% of it. We have rented this great apartment in the Gothic Area. We are steps from Las Ramblas and the heart of the Gothic Quarter. After meeting our host, collecting our keys…and splashing some water on our face..we were off to Las Ramblas where we had a quick breakfast (the boys Dunkin Donuts, Becky…a local Eggs and Bacon and me just a pastry and two Cafe con Leches.. Walked around..came back for a 2 hour siesta..and then back out again. There are just a few photos of the first few hours. Tomorrow morning a tour of hte City of Segways…this is what the boys have been waiting for.
