The SpencerIsland Manifesto
Some people create Vision Boards…other’s collect words, sayings and quotes. When I started SpencerIsland the original tagline was “Live like you are on vacation.” When I say this, I don’t expect you to quit your job…sit on a beach and drink rum all day. I say this because when you are on vacation, you make the most of your day. You pack light, and explore big. You do something new. Why do we not live this way. Why do we have to wait until those 2 weeks we get for vacation, to explore, eat out…and get excited about something?
I live in Bermuda, a 22 square mile country, and can still find a new place to visit. Even if you live in the U.S., say mid-west, I am sure you can make a date to go out once a week…to a new restaurant, a concert, and event at a local park and do something new? The SpencerIsland Manifesto has been bouncing around in my mind for several months. I have final sat down, to play with it.
