Happy 2016. Cannot wait to see what this new year has in store for us.
As with the past 3 years, we started the day on a long walk on the Beach and throwing our rocks with notes on what we want to release this year…into the ocean.
Dylan is missing in the photo as he said that some of the negative things that he should throw in the ocean, he may need…

So…when you have a private beach, tiki bar and open fire pit…what do you do? You have friends over who love to dive for Lobster and have a 1st Annual SpencerIsland Lobster Fest at your house. Thanks for the recommendation and coordination from Mr. D. Packer….that night was a success. From Lobster tacos…to cold Corona! Great night… Thanks again Dave and for everyone else that dropped a Lobster off on SpencerIsland.
As with the last two years, the Spencer Family started the year by throwing all the negative crap from the past year that we want to remove from our life into the ocean.
This year we drove all the way down the country to Bailey’s Bay…on the new rail way trail bridge. We started the day by taking a little walk…but not before we threw our rocks away.
Was a great way to start the day. We also created a NEW Grateful/Thankful/Blessed jar for 2015. Post to follow.
What a start to the new year. After having an amazing New Years party…where the weather did not hold anyone back…we woke to a Bermudaful day. Our Spencer Family traditions were in full force.
We started the morning (after Pumpkin Pamcakes) with friends Catrina & Courtney, who stayed over New Years Eve, by writing down all the things we wanted to get rid of in 2014…tying the items to a rock…and throwing them in to the ocean. We chose a great new spot (Hospital Island near Lagoon Park, which is down the street from our new home) to throw the rocks this year.
